Jane Austen, the author of the famous novel '' Pride and Prejudice'' (1813), is one of the distinguished and well-known writers of all ages. Jane Austen was born in 1775 at Stevenson, Hampshire, a small town in south-west England and spent there most of her life. She loved this beautiful county and found there the inspiration to write such a beautiful novel as ''Pride and Prejudice''. She died at Winchester in 1817, after about a year's illness. In ''Pride and Prejudice'' we can see Austen's great power of subtle discrimination and perceptiveness. The novel contains very detailed descriptions of the time. Jane Austen writes in gentle satire and her style of writing is simple yet very witty, facetious and rich.…
