The process of communication is very important to provide information to other persons. Communication can be broadly classified into verbal communication and non-verbal communication. Verbal communication includes written and oral communication whereas the non-verbal communication includes body language, facial expressions, visuals, diagrams, pictures, etc. used to communicate a message.
The term paper deals with the oral part of verbal communication. Oral communication refers to the spoken part in the communication process. Oral communication can be face-to-face communication, conversation over the phone, speech or interview on TV, radio etc. Spoken conversations are influenced by voice modulation, pitch, volume and even the speed and clarity of speaking.
