Conclusion
The reason why these companies are so sucsessful are because they all think about their self image. They always try to show their best side to the clients. Also they follow the time and change their services and offers to the clients. That way clients are always pleased with them and keep using these products and services.
They all also have been in market for some time, that is why it is importanant to attrat their clients with new logos and packings. The change of designs is also important, because it keeps the product young looking and people will be wanting to buy it (LMT has changed their logo, Statoil has also changed it, only in Latvia theres the old logo still used).
Even though all these companies are big some of them think not just about themselfs, but also nature and eviroment (Statoil and Toshiba) I think these days when everyone is thinking about being nature firendly, it is important for companies to think that too. If you want to keep a good self image you should think about enviroment and recycling.
Another thing that big comapnies like Statoil and LMT does is supporting different kinds of social events, that is also a really good comercial for them. People are attracted to companys who care about people, not just their clinets, but in general. If company supports charity even (like LMT) or sponsors talents in art, education, and sports (like Statoil) it increases their image in clients eyes.
Another thing about sucsesful companies is their client service. It is really important to keep it on high level if you want to make your way in the market. Im always statisfied with the way customer service in LMT (I can’t say that about their competiors though) or Satoil works. You always seem welcomed and want to return to their shops. Also when I buy something the seller offers me something from their new products and tells me about them, and ofcourse tells me all about product I want to buy and recomend me something else, explaining why this product is better than the one I wanted to buy at first. They are not false statments just because they want to sell me something, but because they actually want their client to be more content with their product.
