Passion for the hotel trade!

HUSA, managerial group dedicated to the hotel trade, the restoration and the services of catering are a company leader in hotel business segments and the first group Spanish innkeeper of familiar character. Founded in 1930 by Juan Gaspart Bulbena, the group has always been characterized by enterprising character, being Husa Hoteles the first chain deprived in the managerial history of Spain and one of the pioneers in Europe.
At present, the Group Husa was structured in two divisions: Husa Hotel, with 160 national and international establishments that add more than 12.000 rooms, and Husa Restauración dedicated to the establishments of restoration, to the services to communities and to the services of catering.
In the last years, the fourth generation of the family Gaspart has started taking positions of responsibility in the group, at which today Joan Gaspart Solves presides and which is provided with the vice presidencies of José Luís Buch and of Antonio Martí. This way, Good Josep Gaspart has assumed the general direction of Husa Hoteles, while Juan Gaspart Bueno has done the proper thing with Husa Restauración.
Precisely, the familiar character of the company is one of the values that more force has awarded him to Husa. Throughout his 75 years of history, the group has been able to preserve this feature, being today the great-grandsons of the founder those who are at the head of the business; a significant fact if we bear in mind that scarcely 7 % of the Spanish family enterprises comes to the third generation.
This managerial structure has been one of the keys of his success on having combined of effective form the familiar tradition with the managerial vision of every generation and the spirit of innovation that has allowed them to adapt oneself rapidly to the constant changes of the market. For his experience, the Group Husa has turned into a regarding skylight to understand the history and the evolution of such an important sector in Spain as the tourist one, contributing that it turns into the first industry of the country thanks to his contribution of 12 % to the Gross National Product (GDP). At present, Spain is the second tourist potency of the world and the fourth cultural destination on a global scale.
Along his trajectory, the group Husa has demonstrated an emulation of improvement that has led his business areas to diversifying, taking the hotels and the restoration as a base; to promote the national expansion of his hotels, being one of the chains with better implantation in the Spanish capitals; and to initiate a process of internationalization, for which his hotel offer is present in Egypt, Belgium, France, Andorra, Argentina and the United States.
