1. INTRODUCTION
Nowadays, a lot of organizations, researchers and consumers are experiencing major changes in their everyday life, due to changing demands. These changes can be either positive or negative. What may be perceived as negative change by one of these groups, may be perceived as positive change by another group. In the past years science and technology have drastically changed the way we think and work. And that’s why researchers everyday discover new combinations materials, that can affect our lives in a positive or a negative aspect.
Fiber concrete has been around for a long time, but only in the recent years it is making a breakthrough in everyday use, due to its composition. This composite material properties and technical specifications may differ using different additives. Changing the additives changes the material specifications and the intended use that varies due to its intended purpose.
Statement of the Problem
The purpose of this study was to sum up the possible and different effects of electrical conductivity of the metal fiber conductive concrete and the main are areas of application using metal additives.
Significance of the Study
There are three primary groups that may benefit from this study. The first group, the researchers, may find the best combination of metal additives used in fiber conductive concrete. Identifying many variations of metal additives, may result in new scientific discoveries that have better overall performance then the predecessor. The second group that would gain a lot are organizations, mainly because of the new requirements that are being set for new constructions, what includes higher performance, improved sustainability and ecological environment. Finally, and in my opinion the most important group, the consumers who are using the products daily, improving the quality of life, reducing operating costs and increasing efficiency.…
