Scientists found up six main reasons for reading:
Identifying the topic: readers have to understand the main idea of the text.
Predicting and guessing: readers try to predict and understand what about topic is.
Reading for general understanding: readers do not think about the details. The aim is to understand the main idea from the text. It is important, when students start to read in a foreign language, however reading will not be successful.…
