1. This presentation is made by Artūrs Reišonoks and the theme of my today's presentation is routers.
2. I will tell in general about them, how to improve the strength and quality of the signal, as well as the speed of the signal.
3. The Internet is now very common and almost everyone uses it. Also in addition to all the good things in this, there are disadvantages that every third person encountered-instability and low speed. Now I will try to explain the main reasons for these disadvantages and how to avoid them.
4. Let's figure out what a router is. A router is hardware device designed to receive, analyse and move incoming packets to another network. It may also be used to convert the packets to another network interface, drop them, and perform other actions relating to a network.
5. There are different types of routers that can now be seen on the slide. Wireless router, edge and core router. Each of them has its own application, advantages and rules of use.
6. One of the most popular reasons is packet loss. To understand why this happens, you need to understand what it is. Packet loss occurs when one or more packets of data travelling across a computer network fail to reach their destination. Packet loss is either caused by errors in data transmission, typically across wireless networks, or network congestion.
