Latvia lies in North of Europe, ashore of Baltic Sea. Latvia is one of three Baltic states.
States area is 64 589 km². Population is rouglhy 2.4 million. Latvia is tipical flat country state. Capital is Riga, what is situated near Riga gulf, but west is surrounded by the Baltic sea. In northem Latvia borders with Estonia, to the east by Russia, but to the southeast by Belarus and south of Lithuania.
Other states people about latvians says that we are nation of emigrants, angry, funny. Life is going in the same way like in other places, but not so fast.
