Collector
Place a horizontal collector, which is placed in the ground under the freezing area, at a depth of about 1.5 m. It absorbs energy from the ground through the liquid circulating through the collector tube and drives it to the heat pump.
Probe
Closed earth probe drilled at a depth of about 50-70 m. There is not much room for the earth probe. It is usually used when the house is in the city center or has a small backyard land.
Costs
For example, a 200 m2 house requires a 12 kW heat pump. In operation, this pump will take 2.4 kW of power from the mains, while the remaining 9.6 kW will come from an underground collector that will turn it into heat. If we assume that the heating season is seven months or 5040 hours a year, then the heat pump will work about half of these hours. In total it is 2520 x 2.4 x 0.071 = 429.41 €, which will have to pay for the heat per year.
