Considering this, nobody will be judged, if a law cannot apply to him.
Since it has occurred so, that much people have taken Christ’s belief, there have been formed many councils for [decisions in] all worldly matters, also among Englishmen Christ’s belief has therefore been taken by the holy bishop and other distinguished persons.
They have decided then, because of mercy Christ has taught, at least each misdeed that those secular lords must live with, except that first sin [Christ] has undertaken, they decide then.
