There are a lot of words in English which can be nouns, adjectives and verbs at the same time, and to make it clear what exactly they are one must understand it with the help of the context. But if one is given a separate word, for example- work, it is impossible to say whether it is a noun or verb. In order to make my assignment easier I will write out the compounds which I found in the British media, divide them and write down whether they can be nouns, adjectives, verbs.
I found this Course Report very interesting because for the first time I had to read British newspapers. Finding compounds in media is very easily done except for finding the newspaper itself. But I got along with it quite well and found some British newspapers which at the moment seemed impossible.
Reading those articles was much fun and at the same time educating. I found out a lot of new things and now I have much deeper proficiency into British way of life.…
