Aivars Lembergs – Ventspils mērs un Ventspils brīvostas valdes priekšsēdētājs

RIGA – Aivars Lembergs, mayor of Ventspils and chairman of the Ventspils Free Port board, said on March 17 that he couldn’t rule out the possibility that Ventspils would never again get any crude from Russia.
Lembergs made his dire prediction while speaking to reporters in Ventspils, which has seen oil throughput dry up completely due to a decision by Russia to use alternative export routes.
He stressed that Latvia wasn’t the only party losing out from Moscow’s policy, which he in the past has described as a “political decision.”

Aivars Lembergs – Ventspils mērs un Ventspils brīvostas valdes priekšsēdētājs 17. martā teica, ka viņš neizslēdz iespēju, ka Ventspils nekad vairs nesaņems crude jēlvielas no Krievijas.

Lembergs reportieriem darīja zināmus savus tiešos minējumus, pareģojumus, kamēr tika skatīti ražošanas procesā izlietotie materiāli līdz Krievijas lēmumam par alternatīvu eksportēšanas maršrutu.

Lembergs uzsvēra, ka no Maskavas politikas, kas iepriekš tika raksturota kā “politisks lēmums” ciešs ne tikai Latvija, bet arī citas valstis.
