Typical Latvian

Are you a typical Latvian?
Everyone has their own nationality. It tells a lot about person’s characteristics, pace, manners and way of speaking in everyday life. It is easy to seperate hot-blooded Spanish people from calm Norwegians. We, Latvians, also have our features who make us unique.
Many people say that Latvians are very hardworking and patient but not ambitious. I think it’s mostly because of our history as peasants and being a part of Soviet Union. I can say I absolutely agree with this, because I can work many hours for one particular thing but I’m not very confident about it. This leads to another stereotype about Latvians – they fear change and the unknown, which is true. All history of Latvia change has brought suffering and pain. It has kind of made impact on me because change is something I try to avoid.
