Syrian honeymoon: Two Americans fall victim to love and ISIS propaganda

On August 8th of 2016 a married couple was caught in a small Mississippi airport attempting to cooperate with ISIS. Jaelyn Young (20) and Muhammad Dakhlalla (22) prepared to board a plane to Turkey, where, allegedly, they would join the terrorist organization.
How did these young adults get involved in such a serious crime?
The youngsters started dating less than two years before their arrest. Both of the high school sweethearts were known as good scholars all throughout their academic careers. Young, the daughter of a police officer, studied chemistry and had prospects of becoming a doctor, while Dakhlalla was pursuing a psychology degree at the same university. …
