I read comparisons of people and animals that showed their ability to use tools, to think, and also to use their language. It sounds like this – intelligence is “the ability to use memory, knowledge, experience, understanding, reasoning, imagination and judgement in order to solve problems and adapt to new situations.” Reading the articles about human and animal intelligence I found some information about animals’ ability to use memory but they use only short term memory like for remembering the nest place, also for finding the food which is hidden. Human beings have 2 more kinds of memory – long term and working memory. Carrying on I need to talk about knowledge which is also mentioned in the definition.
