Brexit was the withdrawal from the European Union by the United Kingdom in 2020. The debates for the United Kingdom’s place in the EU in 2015 intensified under the influence of the global financial crisis and the European migrant crisis. Although there were many debates on whether United Kingdom leaving was the right decision not only for them but for the European Union as well, the decision was made to leave. The United Kingdom’s decision to leave complicated economic relations, such as taxation, travel and safety guarantees between the two countries.
