Francis Bacon said once – “all people are divided by two categories: for one it is easy to notice distinctions, for other – likeness”.
The division of people into classes is nothing new. From the very antiquity people were divided by welfare, origins, physiological parameters, interests, professions, dependences, illnesses – a man can be an object for endless divisions. Such division gives us certain picture of a man which stands opposite to us. Man and environment are like space. At first we scrutinize the structure of space, then its functionality, then possibility of using it and possible design, and more frequent than all, we see cracks in its walls only after the protracted time, when we are acquainted with it already. What are environment and a man? Each of us is free to judge subjectively. But is it correct to use terms like objective and subjective?
I like the expression of Oscar Wilde – “The man who sees both sides of a question is a man who sees absolutely nothing at all”. Exactly this phrase explains the term of objectivity very colourfully. People say that an objective man does not have prejudices. Then it turns out logically that a subjective man has many prejudices. Is widespread opinion that objective it is that, whom is characteristic a disposition of the crowd, and that the true and objectivity has only majority. A subject has the personal opinion and subjectivity, but similarly as well as a majority, he has the truth. A problem is in that that majority does not wish to hear the truth of minority. Usually in modern life if you define yourself as a man without crowd, you don’t exist for majority, because a huge exposure of factors is dependent on majority.
Which truth dominates in interpretation of environment as an object? We perceive an environment as a crowd or as an individual? I will endeavour to give my own determination for the term environment.
Indisputably, environment is one of the most used terms in today’s life. Environment is the quintessence which includes the following staples of life - water, earth, air, nature, and similarly – a man.…
