Dukes of Normandy

The theme of the text is about different places which had suffered from the mad Northmen, moreover the text tells about some famous dukes who have had an effect on their duchies and on whole countries, for example, there was one duke, who became a king. The text also shows that not only England has suffered from Northmen, but also Friesland, France and Low countries which means that we get to know that although the time of the dukes was in some way really glamorous – it managed to settle up a lot of fights and wars in order to dukes to enlarge their landed properties.
“Dukes of Normandy” is an obvious non-fiction, because the content presents a lot of historical facts and concepts which have definite person’s names and place names, in addition it has several years within something has happened.…
