Differences in Latvia at Present Time and 50 Years Ago

I will speak about differences and diversity in Latvia at present time and 50 years ago. Life has changed a lot during this period of time. I can’t tell you all about that, because this theme is very extensive, so I will touch only the main aspects.
Today there aren’t so fundamental differences between life in cities, towns and in countryside like 50 years ago. Because development and advancement in general hadn’t achieved countryside 50 years ago. There wasn’t even electricity in countryside! So people who lived in cities, could bye and use many electronics, but people who lived in countryside couldn’t use it, even if they had money to buy electronics. Now almost everyone has the same facilities. But in any case now electronics are more developed than half a century ago, so today we can do a lot of things in shorter time.
Regarding to transport, 50 years ago a personal car could have only very rich and powerful people, but now almost everyone can buy it. So now traveling is much easier, faster and comfortable than it was at that time.…
