Current Problems in My Profession

Latvia for the past ten years because of the large investments from the European Union which usually prepays about 50-70 % of the whole project costs is a huge advantage for the Latvian state.
At the first sight is might seem that companies and people working in this business can earn good money because a single project can cost up to even Ls 100 million as the Dienvidu Bridge and so it is. Unfortunately from my own experience I can affirm that in most construction companies only the leading personnel have acceptable salaries, while the workers have to accept quite low salaries meanwhile working on Saturdays and sometimes even on Sundays till late in the evening. I consider this as a problem because a student like me has to start a simple worker and work hard for about five or more years to become a work superintendent with a normal salary.…
