In addition to communication and motivation, company social events can reduce stress levels and act as an opportunity for employees to relax from their everyday responsibilities. Employee burnout is a major problem in a fast-paced work environment nowadays and one of the solutions how to avoid it is rewarding everyone for a job well done be it financial or social rewards (Rampton, 2015). As mentioned previously non-financial rewards can be more effective motivators for workers and we can count social events as one of them. Some might say that event organizing may put even more pressure on individual workers in the company the first being the employer who in many cases is also the coordinator of the idea. I would disagree with this statement because there are other options that allow to avoid the huge responsibility of event organization. One would be to hire a company that can take care of it, other would be to keep the scale of the event as small as possible for the reason that party does not need to be magnificent to have a good time.
