Book Review. "Godfather" by Mario Puzo

A few days ago I finished reading one of the best books what I have read. It is called “Godfather” which was written by famous American novelist Mario Puzo. Mario Puzo describes traditional Mafia family life and adventures in late 1930’s and 1940’s. Book describes how Mafia family survived lawsuits, mob wars, drugs and whatever else crossed Mafias family on the way of becoming one of the strongest mafia families in New York City and in the United states.
This book is about a New York mafia family „Corleone”. When Corleone family don was Vito Corleone, and he was a man who ruled with quiet persuasion, he asked loyalty and dealing mercilessly with those who crossed him from those who were asking favors from him. When other criminal tries to involve his organization in the drug trade, Corleone resists and the shield of power that he has built around his family is threatened.…
