Book Anotation. Josephine Tey "Brat Farrar"

This story is about Ashby’s family, where grew four kids, who were fostered by aunt Bee, because their parents were perished in aeroplane catastrophe. In this family are young sisters – twins – Ruth and Jane (they are 10 years old) and they have sister Eleanor and older brother Simon. Simon had twin brother Patrick, but he had died 12 years ago, perpetrate self-murder.
Everything happens in Latchet’s farm. Protagonist in story is one guy, Brat Farrar, who looks like Simon Ashby. Brat Farrar is quiet serious man, who has never done anything criminal before. But one day he met Alec Loding, by chance in the street. Alec Loding espied that Brat looks exactly like young Simon Ashby, so he had a plan. It’s twelve years since Simon’s twin brother, Patrick, died. Alec wanted that Brat to take dead Patrick’s identy. At first Brat doubted his plan; it was criminal, it was dangerous. But in the end he was persuaded, because he had no job.…
