This work is a genuine look into the German General Staff as written by Field Marshal Franz Halder. This journal is an important piece of historical literature because of Halder's detainment by the Gestapo for resistance of the nazi's and attempt to overthrow Hitler. Also, Halder reveals the logistical support and orders being sent to Rommel when serving as Commander of the 7th Panzer Division during the Spring Offensive through Belgium.
