Why do we need to know about the AIDS? An estimated 800,000 to 1.2 million people in the United States are infected with the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) (American Social Health Association). Unlike many diseases, HIV infection and AIDS are preventable and getting up-to-date information is the first step towards protecting yourself. Africa and Asia has the most Aids affected patients in comparison from the other continents. Countries with a high rate of infection are Uganda, Burundi, Malawi, Rwanda, Tanzania and Zambia. According to World Health Organization, Asia had 1 millian individuals mostly in India and Thailand whose blood had tested positive for the AIDS vius (steel 11). In order to increase awareness about AIDS, including how dangerous it is, we must make sure that every person knows what AIDS is, how it is spreading in Asian and AFrican countries and how it is transmit from one individual to other.…
