Ever since I was a small child, I have always wanted to work in the field of medicine. When I was eight years old, my little sister slammed her finger in a door and jerked it out, leaving behind her finger from the second knuckle down. My mom, seeing all of the blood fainted and I was left alone to take action. I immediately elevated my sister's arm, applied pressure to her hand and brachial artery, called 911, found the finger and put it on ice and tried to revive my mother.
